BUFFALO RIVER PADDLE TRIP
Featuring towering views of Big Bluff and Hemmed-In-Hollow (both the tallest bluffs of their kind between the Rockies and Appalachians), this paddle follows one of the most scenic segments of the Buffalo River. We’ll kayak from Ponca to Kyle’s Landing with a riverside lunch included. The drive there explores the beautiful Boxley Valley.

CRAFT NIGHT | PRIDE POSTCARD PARTY
Join us for Love Out Loud: A Pride Postcard Party, a creative evening where you’ll design hand-crafted postcards that celebrate self-pride, community, and global kindness. Each postcard will carry a heartfelt message and be mailed to LGBTQ+ centers across the country as tokens of appreciation and solidarity. Come create, connect, and help spread love where it’s needed most.

INNER TUBE WATER POLO
Nothing heats up the Pool like a dynamic game of inner tube water polo. Bonnie Adams from SwimOZ will referee two, 20-minute halves as teams compete to score goals. We use the rules of standard water polo with the assistance of inner tubes for extra buoyancy. No swimming skills are required, and all are welcome, regardless of experience.

POETRY NIGHT 1 | HAIKU WORKSHOP
Join us for Part 1 of our two-part poetry night series, leading up to a Haiku Battle Night later this month. Led by Sarah Burns Anyieth, a poet, educator, and founder of the NWA Poetry Connection and Poetry Open Mix Night–two platforms dedicated to creative expression and community building–this workshop will help you unlock your poetic voice and Haiku writing skillset. MEN'S BOOK CLUB
Member Allen S. suggested that the Men's Book Club try something new by reading a poetry selection, his pick is Delights and Shadows, by Ted Kooser. He is a winner of the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry and served as United States Poet Laureate (2004-2006). He is a poet who works toward clarity and accessibility, so that each distinctive poem appears to be as fresh and bright and spontaneous as a good watercolor painting. Kooser is a haiku-like imagist who imbues his poems with "tender wisdom,” and draws inspiration from the overlooked details of daily life.

WOMEN'S BOOK CLUB

Join 37North for this unique day exploring the Ozarks with our friends from Snake Mountain Pack Goats. We will complete a 3-mile hike around Devil’s Den State Park, where we will get to see beautiful views with our furry friends. The goats will entertain you as they lead the group with their packs and saddles on their backs. Along the way, we will learn about the local flora and fauna as well as the natural history of this incredible area. After our hike, we will head to Sassafras Springs Winery for wine tasting and social relaxation
